Thalir-Yuva OGSSICON

Thalir-Yuva OGSSICON is OGSSI's dedicated annual conference for younger members — a platform to promote leadership skills, and to recognize academic and organizational talent amongst the Under-40 OGSSIan community, conducted on the 2nd Sunday of December.

Yuva OGSSI was initiated in 2020 to encourage the younger group of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists within OGSSI, modeled on the lines of Yuva FOGSI, a popular annual academic program at the national level.

A key feature of Thalir-Yuva OGSSICON is the Dr A Jaishree Gajaraj Endowment Oration, delivered by a promising young OGSSI member below 40 years — a platform that showcases emerging talent in clinical work, research, and presentation skills.
